Mission statements and benchmarks:These sites provide a state mission statement and a list of 23 benchmarks against which state development should be measured over time, grouped as "Prosperous Missourians," "Educated Missourians," "Healthy Missourians," "Safe Missourians," and "Responsible Government." These benchmarks make up Missouri's Show Me Results project. This project is comparable to Minnesota Milestones and Oregon Shines in setting broad aspirations by which to measure the achievements of the state at large, rather than state government per se. http://www.cpi.state.mo.us/sp2_a.htm http://www.cpi.state.mo.us/sp2_b.htm
