Fiscal Affairs ProgramGoverning for ResultsKentuckyLinks on this site were active as of September 23, 2002 Overview: Kentucky legislation in the 2000 session (H.B. 502) called for establishment of a strategic planning and performance budgeting pilot project. The plans are to be submitted with the budget requests for the 2002-2004 biennium. The legislation requires statements of mission, goals, objectives and performance indicators; requires development of training courses in strategic planning for state employees, development of an electronic database to make all strategic plans searchable; and the performance budgeting pilot.
