NALFO-L and CAPBUD-L Listservs

General Information

NCSL hosts three listservs for the National Association of Legislative Fiscal Offices. The NALFO listserv is an e-mail forum and information exchange for legislative fiscal staff who are interested in state revenue and expenditure issues. NALFO listserv subscribers post messages to the list that are then sent out (reflected) to all other subscribers to create an electronic discussion group. NCSL staff use the NALFO listserv to post meeting announcements, agendas, and other association information. The CAPBUD listserv is for legislative fiscal staff interested in capital budgeting issues. The MEDICAID listserv is for legislative fiscal staff interested in capital budgeting issues.

To Subscribe

To subscribe to the NALFO, CAPBUD, or MEDICAID listservs, send an e-mail message to arturo.perez@ncsl.org and identify yourself, your legislative affiliation and your phone number, requesting subscription to either NALFO-L, CAPBUD-L, or MEDICAID-L.

You will receive an e-mail message confirming your subscription and describing how to post messages and unsubscribe.

Posting Messages

To post a message, send an e-mail message to either nalfo-l@ncsl.org, medicaid-l@ncsl.org with your questions or comments (describe the message briefly in the subject field). Please include your name and contact information at the bottom of every message so others can contact you individually if they choose. Your message will be sent to all subscribers on the list.

Remember that replies to messages posted on the listservs will also be sent (reflected) to all other subscribers. To reply privately to the person who posted a message, send a new message to the sender's e-mail address rather than replying to the listserv message.

To Unsubscribe

To be taken off the listservs, send an e-mail message to either nalfo-l@ncsl.org, medicaid-l@ncsl.org and in the body of the message put: unsubscribe.
