"Healthy Alternative: Take Mass Transit"
This article from The USA Today touches on the inherent health benefits associated with taking public transit, which often allows you to fit physical activity into your daily routine. Many transit agencies are seizing on this message, combined with rising gas prices, to encourage more people to use mass transit systems such as bus and light rail. The article details a few transit providers campaigns to offer education and tracking tools to allow riders to calculate the health benefits of taking transit.
