Environmental Management Legislative Roundtable

NCSL legislative roundtables provide state legislators with the opportunity to tour DOE facilities and meet with DOE headquarters personnel and site staff. This forum allows state legislators to learn the complexities of environmental cleanup and exchange ideas with their colleagues from different states. Many legislators take back the lessons learned from these roundtables to their home states, where they often introduce legislation to better protect constituent interests and to advance cleanup goals.
