Healthy Environment, Healthy Kids is a new book by the National Conference of State Legislatures that  provides state policymakers and those interested in public health and the environment with the latest medical, scientific and policy information on children’s environmental health.   Healthy Environment, Healthy Kids looks at these issues and considers the health effects that environmental factors—such as mercury, pesticides and air pollution—may have on children.  The potential links between the environment and rising rates of asthma, developmental disabilities and other childhood diseases are also discussed.
