State Resources

States and Tribal Government Working Group (STGWG) - A committee of representatives from states and tribes that are affected by DOE facility cleanup. At least twice a year, STGWG members meet with DOE officials to provide policy analysis and input on cleanup decision making. A representative from NCSL serves on STGWG and provides staff support to the group.

Western Governor's Association WIPP Transportation Advisory Group - Advisory group to DOE advocating for the safe and uneventful transport and disposal of transuranic radioactive waste and environmental cleanup of DOE facilities.
