The Eighth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has ruled that the sovereign immunity clause of the U.S. Constitution's Eleventh Amendment protects Nebraska from claims filed by US Ecology and several utilities that planned to use the proposed Central Interstate Low-Level Radioactive Waste Compact facility.
