Air QualityNCSL Air Quality Meeting in San Francisco, June 3April 2005 NCSL has scheduled an air quality workshop in San Francisco, California, Friday, June 3, 2005, at the Galleria Park Hotel. The meeting will discuss legislative options to help states implement provisions of the Clean Air Act and recently adopted EPA rules. It will be designed to engage participants in a dialogue that explores the role of states in crafting policies to meet their own environmental and public health needs within the context of regional and national programs. Topics for discussion will include EPA's recently issued mercury reduction rule, California's Low Emission Vehicle program, and air pollution control strategies in national parks and ports.
