Healthy Community DesignThe NCSL Healthy Community Design Program regularly collects resources of interest to legislators, policymakers and those interested in nutrition access-related issues. We provide the links below for informational purposes only, and they do not necessarily reflect NCSL positions. 2008 Bike SummitOn March 4-6, 2008, the League of American Bicyclists hosted their annual National Bike Summit. NCSL staffer Douglas Shinkle presented on the various strategies states use to fund construction and maintenance of bicycle paths and other infrastructure.
