EPA Publishes State Clean Energy Fund Manual
EPA's Clean Energy Environment State Program recently published a manual to help states assess the different administrative and funding options available to them as they implement, restructure, or expand their Clean Energy Funds (CEF). A CEF is a policy that secures a source of funding and an administrative delivery mechanism for clean energy resources. The manual provides an overview of advantages and disadvantages, implementation options, and state examples of different CEF approaches. It also references other policies for promoting clean energy and briefly describes interactions and considerations related to establishing a CEF.
