New Source Review
The committee will review the modified federal regulation addressing emissions from new and refurbished power plants and actions states have taken to adopt it or develop an alternative. Electricity Transmission
In this session we will examine constraints and other issues related to building new transmission lines.  The session will address how states oversee and influence plans for new lines and the implications of these decisions for coal, wind, gas and other electricity-generating resources.  NCSL will discuss its recently-developed sample legislation on interstate coordination of planning and siting of transmission.  Finally, we will hear about new technologies for electricity delivery.
