2005 Unemployment Insurance Bills

(Benefits/Elibility)

In 2005 state legislatures considered a wide range of bills regarding unemployment insurance. Many of the bills related to the calculation and payment of benefits or the criteria for eligibility. The 19 states that enacted unemployment insurance legislation related to benefits and eligibility are: Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wyoming.
