 Alabama

 

H.B. 380
Relates to certain public and private employees called to active duty in the armed forces of the United States; requires the state to pay certain compensation for a certain period of time to state employees activated for military service during a certain period; authorizes local governing bodies and other local governmental entities to provide certain compensation for a certain period to their employees who are activated for certain military service; provides certain tax deductions for private employers who provide certain compensation for a certain period to their employees activated for certain military service; provides for continuation of health insurance coverage and pre-retirement death benefit coverage for activated public employees; and provides for this act to terminate on December 31, 2003.
