This bill, which would be known as the Living Wage Act, would require the Industrial Welfare Commission to establish the hourly minimum wage at not less than $7.25 effective January 1, 2003, $7.75 effective January 1, 2004, $8.25 effective January 1, 2005, and $8.75 effective January 1, 2006.
