2007 State Committees that Deal with Housing Issues

When a housing bill comes up in a state's senate or house, often times it is hard to assign a committee to that bill when the state has no specific housing committee. Some states have a committee that deals specifically with housing bills and they have named it as such. Other states have to assign the bill to a committee that can best deal with the issue the bill is about. This database is based on a phone survey completed in 2007 to determine what committees in all the states usually deal with that state's housing issues. The database contains, the name of the committee by state, legislature address, chair and vice chair names and their email addresses.
