The 2007 Trade Policy Leadership Seminar (TPLS) was held November 27-28 at the Biltmore Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Arizona. This year's seminar covered a broad range of topics, from the fate of pending free trade agreements to the struggling Doha Round of world trade talks, from import safety issues to cross-border shipping developments, from agriculture to services. Co-convened for the first time by NGA, SIDO, the State Courts, and NAAG, this year's TPLS program included state government officials in all branches in discussions on today's international trade issues and their state policy implications.
