KS - 65-6a47 requires the labeling of any meat, poultry or eggs imported from a foreign county to be labeled as imported, naming the country of its origin. |

ND - 51-07-13 restricts the sale of imported meat or meat products to those that are labeled as imported. Violation is a class B misdemeanor. |

SD - 39-5-5 restricts the sale of imported meat or meat products to those that are labeled imported, naming the country of origin and the date of exportation; also requires a sign in the place of business. Violation is a Class 2 misdemeanor. |

WY - HB 80, (35-7-711), Labeling of Meat-Country of Origin bill went into effect on July 1, 1999. The new law requires every retailer and every wholesaler who sells or offers meat for sale in a meat market, store, or otherwise, any meat, which is the product of any country foreign to the United States, shall label such meat as "imported", naming the country of its origin. Violation is a misdemeanor. |
FRUITS, VEGETABLES, POLLEN and HONEY |

FL - 504.012 requires that fresh fruit, vegetables, packages of bee pollen or packages of honey or foreign honey blended with domestic honey must be marked to indicate the country of origin to a purchaser. Removing the labels or marks is prohibited and entails a noncriminal violation and a civil fine of not more than $500. |

ME - 7-530 requires country of origin labeling of fresh produce from a foreign country that uses pesticides that are banned in the United States or that are applied at rates or in a manner not allowed in the United States. Violators may be fined not more than $100 per day. |
