New Farmland Protection Database

The American Farmland Trust and the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Natural Resources Conservation Service unveiled a new searchable database of state farmland protection laws and related policy information in March. The Farmland Information Center allows users to locate and download state laws on conservation easements, growth management and transferable development rights, among other issues, related to preserving America’s farmland.
