NCSL Recognizes Outstanding Legislative Documents

Documents produced by state legislative staff and agencies win awards

NCSL press release Boston—Thirteen outstanding documents on topics ranging from climate solutions and the distribution of K-12 state resources to the geography of poverty and hands-free driving laws will be honored by the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) during its 43rd annual Legislative Summit in Boston.

The Notable Documents Awards are presented annually by the Legislative Research Librarians staff professional organization. The award recognizes excellence in documents that explore topics of interest to legislators and legislative staff, and present substantive material in an outstanding format. For purposes of the award, a "document" is one produced by a federal, state or local government. Eligible formats include print and electronic publications, periodicals, serials or websites.
