NCSL Congratulates Newly Appointed Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council

Washington, D.C. – The National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) congratulates Cecilia Muñoz on recently being named director of the White House Domestic Policy Council. “NCSL and the states have worked closely with Ms. Muñoz in her role as White House Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, and we look forward to continuing to work with her in this new role,” said NCSL Executive Director William Pound. “Cecilia is a true professional, and recognizes the importance of the partnership between the states and the federal government.”


NCSL is a bipartisan organization that serves the legislators and staffs of the states, commonwealths and territories. It provides research, technical assistance and opportunities for policymakers to exchange ideas on the most pressing state issues and is an effective and respected advocate for the interests of the states in the American federal system.
