Deficit Reduction Commission

The National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform is studying federal fiscal policy and will soon make recommendations to Congress. Build America Bonds

Build America Bonds, first administered after being created in the Recovery Act, have already issued close to $100 billion through the first quarter of 2010.  While they have benefited state and local governments across the country, questions still remain what value they may have on a more permanent basis.  This informational session will provide a dialogue on the effectiveness of Build America Bonds.
