MEDIA INFORMATION

Reporters and news organizations won’t want to miss a moment of the National Conference of State Legislatures' 39th annual Legislative Summit in Atlanta.

Each summer, NCSL brings thousands of legislators and staff together for the largest and most substantive meeting of its kind in the nation. The Summit provides the perfect opportunity for policymakers to exchange ideas on the most pressing issues facing states today. And it gives reporters story ideas, new contacts and insights into how issues in their states compare nationally.

Please review NCSL's Media Policy.

THE MEETING

The 2013 Legislative Summit is four days of more than 100 policy sessions on the most pressing issues facing state legislatures. Some of the topics include budget conditions, health care implementation and education innovation in the states.
