NCSL Legislative Summit - Chicago, Aug. 6-9, 2012

Standing Committees

Building the States' Agenda
NCSL's 12 standing committees develop the official directives that frame NCSL's federal advocacy efforts on the wide range of issues that affect the states.

As the Standing Committees finalize the states' agenda in Chicago, all existing policies will be considered. Any legislator may submit a policy directive or resolution for consideration to Molly Ramsdell or Neal Osten, directors of the NCSL Washington, D.C., office at dc-directors@ncsl.org by Tuesday, July 9. Standing Committee meetings are open to all Legislative Summit attendees.
