NCSL Legislative Summit - Chicago, Aug. 6-9, 2012

NCSL Bipartisan Bike Ride

Wednesday, August 8
6:15 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.

Since 2005, more than 100 legislators have taken part in the ride, representing 27 states and Canada, Germany, the Virgin Islands and Guam.  The Bike Ride is a great way to start the conference day, and gives attendees the chance to see the picturesque sights of Chicago at a leisurely ten miles per hour.

Bikes, helmets, coffee and healthy breakfast snacks will be provided.  Dress comfortably.  All skill levels and ages are welcome to join this guided ride.

The ride begins at 6:15am and will end around 7:30am. The ride starts and ends at Congress Plaza, on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Harrison Street, a block and a half north of the Hilton Chicago.

Please click here to register and see photos from previous rides.

On-line registration for the ride, except for legislators and sponsors, is now closed. Please email Douglas Shinkle with questions.
