Online Learning: NCSL University

The NCSL e-Learning Center provides the nation's state legislators, state legislative staff and the general public access to sessions produced at NCSL meetings, as well as e-learning content generated for legislative audiences. As the Forum for America's Ideas, NCSL exists to provide platforms to allow for the free-flowing exchange of ideas and information on the issues that matter most.

Pollsters Peter Hart, a Democrat, and Neil Newhouse, a Republican, presented their research on how Americans view the political scene at NCSL's 2012 Legislative Summit in Chicago. Go here to view the full video of both pollsters. You can watch and listen to other sessions from the Summit here.

This online learning area allows you to look at sessions based on NCSL's meetings and by issue areas. You'll find featured videos, audio recordings and webinars that will bring you up to date on everything from high-speed rail to high-risk insurance pools.
