Special Program: FIRE OPS 101 - Minneapolis Fire Academy
The International Association of Fire Fighters will host a program known as FIRE OPS 101 for elected and appointed officials as well as members of the media. This daylong program includes real hands-on firefighting and rescue operations under the controlled supervision of professional fire fighters and paramedics. Participants will learn exactly how challenging it is to keep our communities safe and the resources needed in-order to deliver safe and effective fire and emergency medical services.
