The NCSL Trust for Representative Democracy has developed a database that correlates all of the Americas Legislators Back to School Program resource materials and Your Ideas Count! and Appreciating Legislatures lesson plans to state curriculum standards.
This informative database contains information gleaned from the home pages and websites of the fifty state legislatures, the District of Columbia and the Territories. You can select to view specific website content materials (such as bills, press rooms, statutes) from all states, one state or a selected list of states.
 The State Legislatures Internet Links database also contains links to the State Legislatures' Kids Pages, fun and innovative web pages that state legislatures have created especically for kids to help them learn about civic education!
NCSL participated in the development of The Civic Mission of Schools, a groundbreaking report that summarizes the evidence in favor of civic education in k-12 schools and offers recommendations to educators and policymakers.
