Legislative Leadership: the Path Forward | March 14-15, 2013; Washington, D.C.
America's top legislative leaders will convene in Washington, D.C., on March 13-15, 2013 at the St. Regis Hotel to learn from each other and have conversations with top thinkers in economics, policy and politics. In the typical busy legislative session, there is often not enough time to reflect on leadership and all that the job of legislative leader entails. So we are inviting you to this small meeting in Washington to do just that. Spend three days with leaders like yourself from legislatures across the country, people with the same concerns, the same challenges and the same desire to be effective and successful.
Plan to attend this exclusive meeting for legislative leaders at the elegant St. Regis Hotel, located just two blocks north of the White House. Sequestration, the federal budget for fiscal years 2013 and 2014, immigration reform and tax reform are some of the issues that are on the congressional schedule for March. Attend top-level meetings and interact with key congressional leaders and senior administration officials on these issues and more.
Finally, thanks to a generous grant from NCSL’s Foundation for State Legislatures, the only expense you really need to cover is your travel to D.C. Lodging and meals will be covered by NCSL for invited leaders.
Please make plans to be in Washington for this important meeting.
