2011-2012 Elections Legislation

NCSL's Elections Legislation Database contains bills from all 50 states and the District of Columbia relating to the administration of elections.  Bills are organized into more than 80 categories, and are searchable not only by topic but also by keyword, status, sponsor and bill number.  Bill status is updated bi-weekly. Visit the 2011 elections legislation database.

2001-2010 Elections Legislation

Election legislation from the years 2001 - 2010 may be searched here.

Topics in both databases include: absentee voting, voter registration, voter identification, voter education, recount procedures, special elections and vacancies, ballot access, candidate qualifications, polling places and poll workers, voter qualifications, voting equipment, and primary elections.
