It is with great excitement and anticipation that the LRL Executive Committee announces the 2013 LRL Professional Development Seminar to be held at the State Capitol in Boise, Idaho, Sept. 18-20, 2013.

This seminar will give LRL members the opportunity to exchange information and ideas, renew our professional contacts, and share our expert knowledge and abilities.

The preliminary agenda for the seminar is now available. The planning committee is chaired by Sabah Eltareb of California. Members include Kristin Ford of Idaho, Mary Camp of Texas, Sonia Gavin of Montana, and Your Fearless Leader, Eddie Weeks of Tennessee. Please make plans to join us, Sept. 18-20, 2013, in beautiful Boise, Idaho. We look forward to seeing you there!
 

REGISTRATION

Registration fees are:
  • Legislative staff: $350 early bird (by Aug. 30)
  • Legislative staff: $375 regular (after Aug. 30) 
  • Spouse/guest: $150
  • All others: $450 ($475 after Aug. 30)

Three ways to register for the meeting:
  • Register online
  • Fax the registration form to 303-364-7811
  • Register onsite - if you are unable to meet the registration deadline, please register onsite.

Spouse/Guest Registration. The spouse/guest fee includes admission to all scheduled meal functions and social events.

Cancellations received in the NCSL Denver office by Sept. 6 will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee. Cancellations must be made in writing and faxed to 303-364-7811. Fees cannot be refunded for registrations cancelled after the conference begins.


Confirmations will be e-mailed if an address is provided. Letter confirmations will be mailed upon request.
 
 

HOTEL INFORMATION

Each attendee is responsible for making his or her own hotel and travel arrangements. Hotel reservations must be held by one night's room deposit (major credit card guarantee is acceptable).

When arranging hotel accommodations, please indicate that you are attending the NCSL conference to receive the negotiated rate of $124 per night (plus tax).

The hotel cut-off date for the negotiated rate is August 28, 2013 or when the room block is sold out, whichever comes first.  We recommend that you make your hotel reservations as soon as possible and ask that you please make sure you are in the NCSL room block.

Boise is served by the Boise Airport.
