2019 ASLCS Professional Development Seminar

5/10/2019

Seattle | Sept. 22-27, 2019

The American Society of Legislative Clerks and Secretaries (ASLCS) hosts an annual Professional Development Seminar (PDS) for principal clerks and secretaries and their staffs.

This year's meeting takes place in Seattle, Wash., and aims to bring together U.S. and international participants to learn important skills and procedures, build relationships, and take away new tools and ideas to enhance the effectiveness of state legislatures.

On the agenda are sessions on leadership, parliamentary procedure, civics education and technology; breakouts for principals and associates; and meetings of the standing committees, special committees, and the 2020 Mason's Manual Commission. In addition, our hosts are planning an array of social events that will allow attendees to network with their counterparts in other states while experiencing the best of Seattle and Olympia! (Print-ready agenda also available.)

Thank you to 2019 Seminar Sponsors International Roll-Call and Propylon!
