2016 ASLCS Spring Business Meeting

The 2016 ASLCS Spring Business Meeting is being held April 22-24, at the Hilton Alexandria Old Town in Alexandria, Va.

The ASLCS Executive Committee and the 12 standing committees will meet to continue their work for the year, which includes program planning for the Legislative Summit and the Fall Professional Development Seminar. The 2020 Mason's Manual Commission will also meet.

  • Please register for the meeting in advance so that we can accurately plan for meals and sessions.
  • There is no registration fee to attend and all ASLCS members are welcome.

Travel Information

Travel InformationThe HIlton Alexandria Old Town is located near three airports. The Reagan National Airport is located approximately 15 minutes from the hotel, the Washinton Dulles International Airport is located approximately 40 minutes from the hotel, and the Baltimore Washington International Airport is located approximately 50 minutes away. 

No hotel shuttle service is provided from either airport; however Super Shuttle, limo, cabs and rental cars are available at both airports.

Transit Directions:
Washington D.C.’s Metrorail System (“the Metro”) provides easy access to the hotel as well.  If you’re flying in from Ronald Reagan National Airport (DCA), you can take either the Blue Line towards Franconia-Springfield or the Yellow Line towards Huntington.  Its two stops on either line to the King St-Old Town station.  From there, the hotel should be across the street.  A short walk onto King Street will lead you to the hotel entrance.  For more information on accessing the Metro from Ronald Reagan National Airport (and for a map of all Metro stops), click here
