Call to Order
The meeting of the Professional Journal Committee was called to order by Angi Murphy (VA), Committee Co-Chair.

Approval of Minutes
Upon a motion by Trish OBrion (VA), seconded by Mardi Alexander (TX), the minutes for the meetings held September 12, 2010, during the Professional Development Seminar in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and April 16, 2011 during the Spring Meeting in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania were both unanimously approved.
Old Business
Committee members discussed publishing the Journal annually instead of biannually.
New Business
The committee was notified that the most recent Journal publication had been mailed prior to the NCSL meeting. The committee also discussed three potential articles for the next Journal publication. Committee members suggested topics for future Journals.
Adjournment
Upon a motion by Trish OBrion (VA), seconded by Geneva Tulasz (VA) the meeting was adjourned.
