NLPES Fall Training Conference

September 24-27, 2008 in Madison, Wisconsin
 Hosted by the Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau
Skills development, issue-oriented sessions, and round-table discussions
 

The annual NLPES Fall Training Conference offered professional development opportunities for pro­gram evaluators of all skill levels. Presentations by national and local experts were combined with presentations by legislative program evaluators from member states. Roundtable discussions with colleagues from other states offered additional oppor­tunities to sharpen skills, as did the scheduled networking activities. This year, conference attendees “Harvested Innovative Ideas for Program Evalu­ation” alongside attendees at the NCSL Fiscal Analysts Seminar, which was held simultaneously in down­town Madison, Wisconsin.
