The LRL Professional Development Seminar is an annual event that brings together state legislative research librarians who are interested in exchanging information and ideas relating to legislative library operations and procedures in the states. The seminar provides a combination of educational sessions, tours and networking opportunities.

Speakers for the seminar combine the knowledge of industy experts and the experience and expertise of legislative research librarians. Integral to the seminar is the opportunity to compare experiences with other legislative research librarians in roundtable sessions and small group discussions.

The programs in this seminar are focused on current developments in information and library management, technology and legislative research. Join your colleagues from other states in exploring new ways to think about your work and learn new skills to make your job easier. Come away refreshed by the experiences we will share.
