Transportation Funding Legislation Database: 2007 to 2012 (ARCHIVED)

This archived database tracked legislation and executive orders related to transportation funding and finance that were introduced in the states and territories from 2007 to 2012.
Data from 2007 to 2012 remains available and searchable below. For up-to-date information about bills introduced in 2013 and after, please see the new NCSL Transportation Funding and Finance Legislation Database.

This archived database includes bills in 16 topic areas, including motor fuel taxes; dedicated sales taxes; tolling; bonding and debt instruments; vehicle miles traveled (VMT) fees; design-build and public-private partnerships (PPPs or P3s); registration fees and other transportation fees; funding for aviation development, ports and waterways, and transit systems; transportation appropriations; congestion pricing; local taxes and fees; and other funding and finance mechanisms, such as state infrastructure banks.
