Overview

Bringing Legislators to the Table:  Addressing Hunger in America 

This session focused on innovative public-private partnerships in feeding both traditional and new populations experiencing hunger in America. Innovative practices include increasing access to federal feeding programs such as SNAP, WIC and school-meals programs for children, families, veterans, and elderly.  Speakers also identified concrete ways that state legislators can make a difference in their roles as lawmakers and community leaders.
