Arizona's New Website for Community Health - Arizona has a new website on healthy communities and promising practices. A visitor to the website can compare data by zip code and county. Promising practices are not just Arizona-specific or health-specific, as they include practices on transportation, government, economy, and health. The website includes the Healthy People 2010 Progress Tracker for Arizona, where a user can view the Healthy People 2010 indicators. The website's purpose is to help planners, policy makers, and community members learn about issues and identify improvements. (May 2010)
Planning for Food - The American Association of Planners has compiled a policy guide for planners to better incorporate food system issues into their work. (4/23/2008)
