Under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, state-established health insurance exchanges are to be in place in every state by January 1, 2014. Exchanges are intended to provide qualified individuals and small businesses with access to insurers' qualified health plans in a comparable way.  What do state policymakers need to know about exchanges?  What issues should they consider as they examine their options for setting them up?  Hear speakers discuss the federal framework and state challenges and opportunities.

Speakers:

Amy M Lischko , Assistant Professor, Public Health and Family Medicine, Tufts University School of Medicine - Handout (PDF File 3-pages)
