Medicaid Redesign: State Innovations
Hear about some recent state efforts to redesign Medicaid programs. You’ll learn about New York’s blueprint to lower Medicaid spending by adopting dozens of recommendations from its Medicaid Redesign Team; the demonstration project in North Carolina to improve services and maximize efficiencies for people dually enrolled in Medicaid and Medicare; Oregon’s new Integrated and Coordinated Health Care Delivery System; and the plan in Texas to seek a Medicaid waiver to allow more flexibility, including eligibility, benefits, health savings accounts and vouchers for consumer-directed long-term care services.
