An affordable, reliable and clean energy supply is critical to the nation’s continued economic growth and quality of life. Creating policies to meet the electricity needs of the 21st century will be one of the most significant challenges that policymakers face in the coming years. The NCSL Energy Policy Summit provided participants with an overview of the nation’s energy supply, exploring trends in demand and challenges in distribution and delivery. Speakers shared their expertise on what utilities, regulators and policymakers are doing to ensure the availability of affordable, reliable and clean energy.
