State Approaches to Evaluating School Principal Effectiveness
Tuesday, November 15, 2011
3 p.m. ET/ 2 p.m. CT/ 1:00 p.m. MT/ noon PT
Improving principal effectiveness is a priority for state and federal policymakers. An increasing number of states have recently enacted bills to significantly reform educator evaluations and tenure. As the country closely watches, so too are policymakers in other states who are considering whether to introduce similar legislation. However, many questions remain about what these policies should look like, whether they will work and whether states have the required data infrastructure in place. This webinar will examine the state of state policy for evaluating school principals.
This webinar is supported by generous funding from The Wallace Foundation.
