Agricultural legislation covers a wide variety of topics, ranging from invasive species to safe food handling standards.  As of January 2013, 50 laws pertaining to agriculture have been enacted in 10 states and Puerto Rico: Delaware (1), Illinois (7), Massachusetts (1), Michigan (17), New Jersey (1), New York (4), Ohio (3), Pennsylvania (1), Rhode Island (12), Virginia (1) and Puerto Rico (2).
