NCSL Fall Forum 2006

PRE-CONFERENCE POLICY SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS

Trade Policy Leadership Seminar
December 5-6

This annual policy seminar continues NCSL's focus on the compelling interests state officials have in the international trade arena. State legislators and legislative staff will be joined by state attorneys general and trade development officers to examine the collapse of the Doha Round of world trade talks, the on-going struggles over agriculture support programs, renewal of “fast track” legislation and acceleration of globalization---all from the perspective of the states and their implications for state authority. This popular seminar has previous participants raving about what they learned and the opportunities for collaboration among legislators, attorneys general and other executive branch officials.

For more information, see the agenda online or contact Jeremy Meadows at (202) 624-5400.

Pre-conference policy seminars and workshops are included in the Fall Forum registration fee.
