As the legislative sessions get underway, you have tremendous demands on your time. Legislative staffers are absolutely critical to the efficient running of a legislature. We simply could not do our work  if we didn’t get support from you.

Senator Bruce Starr, OregonI hope you turn to NCSL often. You’ll find all kinds of valuable research on the NCSL website. You have a state liaison who you can call for information on virtually any question. There are webinars every month that you can attend for free. And you can participate in one of several professional organizations for staff.

Remember, NCSL is the only organization for legislators and staff. It’s your organization, so turn to it often.

Senator Bruce Starr
President of NCSL
