New Member Introductions
The Society has a record number of new members every year at the Fall
Professional Development Seminar. We would like to introduce them to you a
few at a time. Please check this section frequently to keep familiar with
the new members of ASLCS.
ASLCS Roster
A searchable database of the principal Clerks and Secretaries and the
Associate members who staff the nation's state legislatures is available
to you online. Access the
database and select the state(s) you wish to search. The database only
shows the dues paying principal and associate members.
ASLCS Position Description Database
Today, in our constantly changing legislative environment we encounter
the need to understand our colleagues' functions and to determine our
similarities and differences in executing our shared purpose of
administering the legislative process. This database is
designed to provide a synopsis and beneficial comparison of the varied job
descriptions encountered within the American Society of Legislative Clerks
and Secretaries (ASLCS). Initially compiled by the ASLCS Support Staff
Committee in 1998, this database is a living document and will be updated
as new text is submitted. |
