Continuing Legal Education (CLE)
Attend NCSL’s Legislative Summit and earn CLE credits!
With more than 11 programs potentially eligible for CLE credit, you can earn a year's worth of CLE hours while meeting with your legislative colleagues and enjoying New Orleans! The 2008 NCSL Legislative Summit offers three and one-half days of programs examining a range of policy areas --elections, redistricting, electronic records, employment law, separation of powers and more.
A flat fee of $100 will cover the processing of all CLE sessions available at NCSL's Legislative Summit. You can pre-pay the $100 fee when you register online or pay when you arrive because payments will be accepted at the registration booth. CLE credit is available to full conference participants only. Certificates of attendance and evaluation forms will be available at the CLE booth located in the registration area.
NCSL is seeking CLE accreditation in 42 MCLE jurisdictions. As soon as the states confirm that the 2008 NCSL Legislative Summit or a portion thereof has been approved, we will add a link to the state mentioning the presumptive number of credit hours or other specifications.
NCSL is not seeking pre-accreditation in the jurisdictions of Arizona, California, Guam, New York and Northern Mariana Islands.
