NCSL Legislative Summit

July 20-24, 2009, Philadelphia, Penn.

The nation's founders gathered in Philadelphia 233 years ago this summer and took the bold step of declaring a new nation. In that spirit, legislators and staff will gather in the City of Brotherly Love this July to confront their own crisis, a fiscal meltdown that threatens the states like none since the Great Depression.

The Legislative Summit offers several sessions for lawmakers and staff specifically designed to hone crisis leadership skills.  Sessions such as:

  • Leadership Matters: A Call To Action
  • Stepping Up to the Plate: Confronting Ethical Problems Head On
  • Elemental Leadership in Crisis Times

It's not too late!  Some hotel rooms are still available at the NCSL conference rate;  make your reservation today!
