Civic Education
The NCSL Trust for Representative Democracy has developed a database for state legislation concerning civic education. This database is intended to capture state legislative efforts to address civic education-related issues and includes brief summaries of the legislation, bill number, status and the bill sponsor.
Users can search the database by year, state, bill status and keyword. The database is a work in progress and, in general, will be updated on a bi-weekly basis.
To obtain the full text of legislation go to NCSL's State Legislatures Internet Links and search the sites of the legislatures where bills have been introduced.
